Orientation in Cha-Am
Orientation in Cha-Am is very easy. In red on the map is Phetkasem road (road #4), the road that goes down south along the coast.
The first set of traffic lights marks the Cha-Am junction (yek Cha-Am). Narathip road goes east to the beach, and west to the train station, the fresh market and the administrative area (main post office, police station, district office, city hall...).
At the end of Narathip road, the beachfront begins. You can turn left to North Cha-Am, or right to South Cha-Am.
The small streets (soi) of the beachfront are numbered starting from the Narathip junction. Soi North 1, soi North 2... soi South 1, 2, etc.
Interactive city map
We are proud to present the first interactive city map of Cha-Am. It is very easy to use: you can either use your mouse or the arrows to navigate, and the +/- buttons to zoom in or zoom out. To get more information about an item, click on its symbol. To locate an item, browse the list on the left side of the screen (in larger view mode) and click on an item to see its position on the map. Most placemarks have a picture associated to them, and clicking on the picture takes you to a page of our website where we mention this particular place.
